On Wednesday, conference participants will have the opportunity to visit one of two landmarks of the Moravian-Silesian Region – the Dolní Vítkovice area in Ostrava or the mountain Praděd.
The excursion fees are included in the registration fee.

Dolní Vítkovice (DOV Ostrava)
A guided visit to the iconic industrial complex in Ostrava, often referred to as the “Ostrava Hradčany.”
The Vítkovice Area is a unique national cultural monument and one of the best-preserved industrial sites in Europe. Participants will explore former coal mines, blast furnaces, and ironworks that have been transformed into a vibrant cultural and educational district. The site offers impressive industrial architecture, panoramic views from former furnaces, and an insight into the history of steel production that shaped the city of Ostrava.
Transportation by bus will be provided from Hotel Kamzík to Ostrava and back.

Trip to Praděd
For lovers of mountain hiking and beautiful nature, we have prepared a trip to Praděd, the highest mountain in Moravia and Silesia (1,491 m above sea level), located in the Jeseníky Mountains. The planned hiking route is approximately 5 km long and offers stunning mountain scenery, forest paths, and panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Transportation by bus will be provided from Hotel Kamzík to the starting point of the hike. The return journey can be made either by bus or individually on foot from the summit of Praděd back to Hotel Kamzík.
